Campus Operations - Tools
Campus Climate Action Toolkit - Helps colleges and universities take steps toward more climate-friendly operations. An organized approach and instructions are offered for collecting and analyzing data, calcualting emissions (using an MS Excel-based spreadsheet calculator ), setting goals, and forming and implementing a plan. It also offers links and case studies to several institutions who have implemented the plan. The tool captures emissions from a variety of sources, including heating, cooling, electricity, steam, and transportation. If institutions become Clean Air - Cool Planet Partners, they can contribute content and suggest edits or format changes so that the resource is owned and maintained by its primary audience and users.
Energy Star School Challenge - http://yosemite1.epa.gov/r10/oi.nsf/webpage/energystarschools: Helps teachers and administrators use the Energy Star Program to evaluate school building energy use through "benchmarking". Provides links to funding opportunities and technical expertise and access to resources and tools.

a Clean Energy Campus - http://www.cogreenpower.org/campus.pdf: Produced
as a result of the University of Colorado Energy Summit in 2002, this workbook
is for "Students interested in persuading their university to purchase
renewable energy to reduce the environmental impact of their campus energy use
will be able to use this
basic workbook to get started. It is based on the experience of the first few
colleges in
