Waste Reduction Resource Center (WRRC) P2 InfoHouse

An extensive digital library of technical information relating to pollution prevention. For research on a variety of topics this is a good starting place. WRRC is located with the North Carolina Division of Pollution Prevention and Environmental Assistance. They represent EPA Regions 3 and 4 in the P2Rx™ Network of information centers. Their collections include:

General P2 Library - 25,000 online documents related to pollution prevention including manuals, articles, fact sheets, case studies, technical reports and videos. These resources can usually be downloaded directly and otherwise may be requested via e-mail, phone or fax.

Industry Sectors - pollution prevention core references including fact sheets and case studies on pollution prevention for selected industry sectors. These documents are deemed to be the “best” by the entities that compiled them.

Case Studies - studies describe a pollution prevention program, process or procedure that a business, industry or government facility has undertaken which resulted in significant pollution reduction and/or cost savings.

Region 8 Library and Environmental Information Center

The primary mission of the Region 8 Technical Library is to provide technical information to support the work of EPA Region 8 staff, and to provide the publc with environmental information resources. www.epa.gov/region8/library

The Joint Service P2 Technical Library

A comprehensive resource for information on equipment, technologies, and management practices that reduce or eliminate the generation, disposal, and release of pollutants at joint service installations. U.S. EPA Online Library System
